Everything Is Illuminated: A stroll through Venetian colors

At the turn of the 16th century, the Renaissance movement started to spread among Venetian artists: the grace of Bellini’s portraits, the radiant landscapes by Cima, the vivid stories on Carpaccio’s canvases and the smooth marbles carved by Lombardo embellished churches and campi. This itinerary will take you along quiet calli to discover these gems.

Additional costs: Entrance to the crypt in the church of San Zaccaria (€ 1), to the Scuola Dalmata (€ 3), to the church of Santi Giovanni e Paolo (€ 2,5) and to the church of Santa Maria dei Miracoli (€ 3).
Notes: Most churches are closed on Sunday mornings and during lunchtime (12 to 3).
