Every Picture tells a Story: The Accademia Galleries

The Accademia Galleries, which consist of a Gothic church, a scuola grande and a convent, host the most comprehensive collection of Venetian paintings in the world today. From golden medieval altarpieces to Renaissance masterpieces, we will read the symbols and stories on the canvases in order to see how the lives of the artists and their works mingle with the history of the city.

Additional costs: Entrance to the museum (€ 9,00).
Notes: The museum is closed on Monday afternoons.
